Building Inspections

Building Inspection makes sure there is compliance with the Safety Codes Act and all related Building Codes, Standards and applicable Bylaws.

Inspection Stages

The property owner, building or contractor shall call the Town Office to arrange for an inspection. A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for inspections.

  • Foundation and weeping tile inspection prior to backfilling.
  • Water, sewer and drainage installation inspection prior to backfilling.
  • Framing inspection prior to insulating.
  • Insulating inspection prior to drywalling.
  • Occupancy Inspection must be completed prior to move in.
  • Lot Grading Inspection.

PLEASE NOTE:  Reinspection Fee:  $150.00 plus GST

Superior Safety Codes is contracted to the Town of Beaumont to provide underground electrical, electrical, plumbing, and gas permitting, and inspections. Please contact Superior Safety Codes  to obtain permits and arrange for inspections.
