and Assessment notices are prepared annually in May and are
due 30-days from date of mailing.
2010
Assessment Roll
The Town
of Beaumont has a Supplementary Assessment Bylaw in place,
which provides for a secondary assessment on properties that
had new homes constructed upon them in the current year; or,
existing residences that had improvements made to them.
- The
supplementary assessment is pro-rated based on the number
of months that the improvement has been completed or occupied
during the current year.
- The
pro-rated supplementary property assessment is used to calculate
the property tax levy. An example is:

- The
tax levy is then applied to the pro-rated supplementary
assessment to calculate the taxes due on the supplementary
assessment.

Tax Instalment Program is a very popular way for residents
to pay their municipal taxes on a monthly basis.
