Early Learning Child Care Centre & Family Day Home Program The Early Learning Child Care Centre is conveniently located on the corner of 50th Street and 55th Avenue in Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre. Family Day Homes are located throughout the community. The After School Care facility is NOW OPEN andd located adjacent to Ecole Beau Meadow School.

CHILD CARE SERVICES: The Town of Beaumont has three options for child care which include a Child Care Centre, a Family Day Home Agency and an After School Care program. The Town operates a quality Child Care Centre, including day care for children aged 6 months to 6 years and After School Care - 6 to 12 years, in accordance with provincial regulations. Both programs are available Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Qualified staff provides programs designed to promote the child's social, emotional, creative, physical and intellectual development. Parent involvement is encouraged and staff and parents do an evaluation of the program. Improvements are done where possible, within available resources. Child Care Services has created a Parent Handbook along with other topical brochures to assist parents. The Town of Beaumont also operates the Family Day Home Agency through a contract with Child and Family Services Region 6. The Beaumont agency in turn contracts with individual local providers to provide childcare in their home. The benefits of operating as a self-employed home-based Family Day Home through this agency are numerous and include referral, resource, support and monitoring to ensure credibility. If you would like to enroll your child/children in either the Early Learning Child Care Centre, the After School Care or a Family Day Home, please download the forms found under the link (to the left) called Childcare & Day Home Waiting List Registration Forms, forward the first and last pages to our office, along with your ($50.00/child) registration fee. (Forms are available in links on the left) The Child Care Centre is a member of the Child and Family Resource Association (CAFRA), recognizing the high level of standards for quality childcare for this accredited centre. The Family Day Home Agency is a member of the Alberta Family Child Care Association (AFCCA)-regional and provincial, advocating for quality care in the home for this newly accredited agency.
